The Habitat & Penang Hill
The Habitat Penang Hill is a world-class rainforest discovery centre and sanctuary set in a 130-million-year-old virgin rainforest. With its scenic nature trail, iconic treetop walkway, and canopy bridge, it offers an exceptional and educational rainforest experience.
Upon arrival at the Lower Station of Penang Hill, you will take a ride on the funicular train to The Habitat Penang Hill. Your guide will provide a brief introduction to the park and the UNESCO Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve as you immerse yourself in the lush surroundings. The guided tour includes exploring the nature trail, traversing the canopy walk, and ascending the many steps to the Curtis Crest Treetop Walkway, the highest accessible viewing platform on Penang Island.
After a delightful lunch, you’ll make your way back to the Upper Station of Penang Hill. Enjoy another funicular train ride down the hill before being comfortably transferred back to your hotel.
