Two sets of temples were carved out on the cliffs on either side of the river as a memorial for one of Bali’s most ancient royal families. Next, you will continue to visit a holy spring of Tirta Empul that is surrounded by a large shrine to honour the God Indra. Here, there are bathing pools where you can take a dip in. These pools are believed to have strong curative powers. On a hill behind this temple is a presidential guest house built by the late President Soekarno.

Afterwards, we will visit the plantations nearby, walking amidst a field of local fruits, coffee, cocoa vanilla and cloves. Balinese coffee is found mostly in the mountainous central part of Bali. There are two kinds of Balinese coffee grown here, which are Arabica coffee and Robusta coffee. Here, you will be able to witness how the Balinese people produce their local coffee powder.
