Mulu National Park is by far the largest national park in Sarawak, with a sprawling area of 544sq.km.
It is also Malaysia’s first World Heritage Site, a status awarded back in 2000.

The Mulu National Park is most famous for its limestone cave systems that include the world’s largest natural chamber, the Sarawak Chamber, the world’s largest cave passage, the Deer Cave, as well as the longest cave in Southeast Asia, the Clearwater Cave.
The park’s main attractions are the four show caves, Wind, Clearwater, Deer and Langs Caves, all of which are readily accessible by wooden walkways and paths.

Another fascinating sight include a bat observatory, where the main highlight is a spectacular show with millions of bats exiting the cave just before sunset.
Other activities are the spectacular Pinnacles trail, and the historic Headhunter’s trail through remote rainforest scenery.
How to get to Mulu?
Mulu can only be accessed by flight. There are daily flights from Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Miri.
