Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Kuala Lumpur

Welcome to the Capital City of Malaysia!

We will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel where you will experience the bustling metropolitan of Kuala Lumpur; also known as the ‘garden city of lights’, which is famous for its shopping, nightlife and delicious food. Witness the intoxicating modernity of KL City as the city that never sleeps. Don’t forget to take this opportunity to shop and eat!

Day 2: Kuala Lumpur Heritage Walk

After breakfast, let’s head out for your first adventure with a day trip of exploring the city. Heritage plays a big part in shaping today’s bustling KL City and it makes perfect sense to restore and maintain these influential spots. Gain insight into some centuries-old colonial structures and get inspired by architectural designs.

In the heavy traffic of Kuala Lumpur, the best way to discover the old part of the city is by train and on foot. This tour covers Jamek Mosque, The Colonial Core, Central Market, Sin Sze Si Ya Temple, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Little India, as well as Chinatown.

After lunch, you will proceed by train to Batu Caves. The caves are a Hindu Temple and the main attraction is the huge statue of Hindu God at the entrance. To enter the caves, there are 272 steps to climb. You will return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 3: Kuala Lumpur / Ipoh

After breakfast, ready to check out and onward travel to Ipoh which will take approximately 2.5 hours ride. We will head to a local eatery called “Kopitiam” where you will be having lunch before going on an adventure visiting the Ipoh Heritage Trail.

Start with the colonial “The Taj Mahal of Ipoh”, Ipoh Town Hall, and Ipoh High Court. Passing through the Birch Memorial Clock Tower and admiring the old commercial district and old shophouses. Twist and turn through the old streets, stopping by at some street art/wall murals to pose for some more photos.

Learn about how tin miners entertained themselves to get over the hard-stressful life at the Concubine Lane. And admire the beauty of nature mixed with man-made structures in cave temples unique to Ipoh (Sam Poh Tong and Kek Lok Tong).

Head back to the hotel and rest the evening free at your own leisure or retire the night early after a long day.

Day 4: Ipoh / Belum Rainforest

After breakfast, ready to check out, we will head to Kellie’s Castle – an unfinished mansion of an eccentric Scottish Planter built in the early 1900s. We will then adjourn travel of 2.5 hours to Belum Rainforest Resort – a resort that sits in the 130 million years old Belum rainforest.

Upon arrival at Belum Rainforest Resort, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, and enjoying the cool, crisp air and breathtaking views Belum has to offer by paddling a kayak or bamboo raft for a leisurely cruise around the vicinity. Set amid an untouched tropical paradise, Pulau Banding, the Belum Rainforest Resort, offers complete relaxation, serenity, and adventure.

Day 5: Belum Rainforest

After breakfast, gather yourself at the jetty and your guide will begin with a safety briefing. Do some light stretching to warm up your body before departing to Royal Belum Rainforest Reserve. The forest reserve is one of the oldest rainforests in the world and is known for its biodiversity and natural beauty. The forest covers an area of approximately 300,000 hectares and is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species such as the Malayan tiger, the Malayan tapir, and the white-handed gibbon. Overall, Royal Belum is a unique and important natural resource in Malaysia, and efforts are being made to protect and preserve it for future generations.

Firstly, you will visit the Rafflesia site where we will have a short trek in search of the rare flower species and then some wildlife spotting before we continue exploring the Salt Lick site if the weather permits. Adjourn your hike to the waterfall. Return to the resort approximately at 16:00hrs.

Day 6: Belum / Perhentian Islands

After breakfast, ready to check out and onward journey to Kuala Besut Jetty. after a short boat ride you will arrive at your island resort. Check into your room and spend the day free at your own leisure. The Perhentian Islands are famous for their white sandy beaches and offers good snorkelling and diving.

Included: Land & Boat Transfer, Accommodation at Perhentian Island

Day 7: Perhentian Islands

It’s another day in paradise! Perhentian Island sparks pinch-yourself moments as you step onto the sand while you’re surrounded by endless tropical beauty that stretches along the South China Sea.

Time to hit the beach and soak up the sun! Don’t forget your sunblock and a good book.

Day 8: Perhentian Islands

It’s another day in paradise! Take some of the water-taxies to go visit some of the coral sites or some of the other beaches and resorts on the islands.

Day 9: Perhentian Islands

The Perhentian Islands offers some very good snorkelling and diving opportunities. Make sure you dive into the beautiful sea and discover the amazing marine life.

Day 10: Perhentian Islands / Kota Bahru

After breakfast and checking out, you will be transferred back to Kota Bahru via speedboat and to the airport to catch your flight back home. We hope you have enjoyed your holiday and hope to see you again!
