Sandakan City Tour & Labuk Day
Nestled on the coastline of Borneo, Sandakan is a vibrant city rich in culture and history. With stunning landscapes, iconic landmarks, and unique wildlife, this city has much to offer.
On this tour, we will explore some of Sandakan’s most notable attractions, including St. Michael Church, the Central Market, Tam Kung Temple, Puh Jih Syh Buddhist Temple, and Sim-Sim Water Village. Sim-Sim Water Village is a traditional village built on stilts in the water, giving visitors a glimpse into the traditional way of life.
After lunch, we will visit the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary, a must-visit spot for animal lovers. The sanctuary’s goal is to protect the endangered proboscis monkeys. There are two feeding stations where visitors can get up close to these peculiar creatures. Visitors may also have the chance to see Silverleaf monkeys and macaques that also call Labuk Bay home.
